We had just finished bridal party photos in the PNW rain forests behind the garden ceremony site when I asked Erin to stay behind. The woodlands out here are straight out of Fern Gully, I was fully expecting to fairies, sprites, pixies and gnomes peeking out from under ferns and from underneath the fungi growing on on old, decaying trees being reinterred to the forest floor. It was a magical scene - and then Erin walks towards me as if she had just finished a semi-annual meeting of the Forest Folk, of whom she is a friend and ally.
