I took this picture when I was hiking through a national park in New Zealand. It was the middle of the day so the light isn´t very beautiful but i still like the shot.

Midday lighting isn't the greatest but I still really quite like this shot it's well composed and exposed, especially assuming this was taken handheld or stabilized in an improvised manner? Anyways my one suggestion is although you can't change the lighting, you could do a quick edit just on the sky to reduce the contrast and get a more even colouring.
Thanks for the feedback! You are right, the stabilization was improvised, i placed the camera on a stone because I had no tripod with me. To reduce the contrast in the sky might be a good idea, thank you!
I do it all the time, lugging around a heavy tripod is a pain and taking too much photo gear can detract from the overall hiking experience.
