This image was taken on a black beach in New Zealand with a South African model. We were going for a more subdued and natural look so I did not do much retouching on the face as some of the more common beauty shots.

I really love this. Very unique, and I think it has a lot of meaning behind it.
I Love the lighting. I think if it were to be cropped in a bit more, that would be better.
I'm not sure if the background is distracting me too much for the beautiful model or not... but either way I think its great. :)

Great shot. More DOF would have helped here so that background is less distracting. What bothers me is the black swimsuit underneath. Would have been great if either it wasn't there, or if the front of the dress was symmetrical.
