This picture with a hot air balloon near the tree shows up as my windows wakeup/sign-in screen. Is that your picture ?
No, unfortunately not. This was my first visit to this location - in the July of this year. :)
Great photo. Would have given it a 4 if the sun wasn't distracting. The tree is definitely the focus. Everything leads to that. I'm curious what this would have looked like just after sun down with a long exposure.
Heh, Thanks. After sunset shots were pretty too, but without the glow on the lavenders. That is why I preferred this.
Maybe you could crop the picture a little more to keep the beautiful light, but ignore the clipped highlights? The burnt out sun is the only weak element in what would otherwise be a memorable image, and a 4 in my book!
