On this day I arrived early to this location, shortly after setting up a storm rolled in causing me to pack up my gear and hide under a rock. After hiding under a rock for nearly 2 hours the rain finally stopped and the clouds started to break apart. Just before the sun dipped below the mountains it revealed itself from the clouds and bathed the landscape with beautiful golden light as it painted the sky in color. A moment that would only last about 30 seconds

I like the composition but not the postprocessing. You've got extreme halos around the boulders, especially around the big one on the left. Because of this the image has a really cheap HDR look to it
Thanks for the constructive criticism. This is one of my earlier photo, my my post production has changed a lot since I took this. I’ve been thinking I should reprocess this photo, but I’m lazy lol
Hahaha just realized that you also took the photo of St. Helens. You've definitely changed a lot, there are worlds between those two pictures. I really hope that I'll get to the same level that you are at the moment!
