I like the subtle nature of the mountains on the bottom. I'm just not sure you really need the clouds and light at the top. Rather than adding to the image it seems to be pulling my attention away from the mountains, which are the real stars of the show.

Thanks Jordan. I agree. I thought I was choosing the lesser of the devils by including the cloud instead of somewhat distracting trees in the foreground.
That makes sense, sometimes we have to make tough choices. I think if you have another chance, bringing a longer lens could help. You might be able to create something a little bit abstract.
As for me... the clouds somehow "frame" and complement the whole thing. I like them :)
