This kid worked his butt off to make this image happen. We shot quite a few takes of this in his backyard, so we didn't make a mess inside. Because it was already late in the evening, I was able to shoot at 1/125 and keep the background black. The speedlights flash duration arrested the motion and froze each spec in the air.
