Photographed in the wide open expanses of the farming areas of the Free State, a province in South Africa. I wanted the windmill as the focal point and shooting it handheld at a low shutter speed to clearly see it spinning in the wind. I framed the windmill, the farm and mountains with the barberd wire fence close up and prominently on the left of the frame and disappearing off to the right along with the road.
