I think it looks really good, but there's a strange object in the background on the left side of the picture that is distracts from the subject of the photo.

Thanks! I noticed it too but I actually liked it in the color version so I kept it. Maybe it didn't translate to B&W. :(

This guy seems to be a bit emotionless or absent-minded, like waiting between to songs. I’d always try to capture stage musicians while playing, or they should have a moody expression (the Miles Davis Round About Midnight cover comes to my mind).
