Every November 5th (or the weekend nearby), British celebrate Bonfire Night in remembrance of an attempt to blow up Parliament and King James I. Guy Fawkes and his group prepared the basement under Parliament with gunpower kegs but the plan was foiled by his friend who alerted the government. To celebrate, party-goers make hay-stuffed effigies of Mr. Fawkes and toss them into the bonfire. The children's memorizing stares caught my eye as the nth doll was tossed in.
