This is my friend Eden. She wanted a silhouette type image of her baby bump and after some discussion we agreed on giving this version a try. We used her living room to shoot as I don't have studio space. Exposing for perfect black, I then placing a 5ft longbox to camera left to light her right side. Took about 30 minutes to get everything right but it was worth the effort in my opinion. All that was left to do in post was rotate the canvas slightly to give her a more vertical pose, then a 4 by 5 crop. I hope you like this piece and good luck to everyone who entered.
