2.31 - "Needs Work"

This was shot in natural light in OKC, Oklahoma. I was on a Senior shoot with this beautiful young lady and the Redbuds were in full bloom.

Have you tried ND filters at all? I am looking for a little more contrast in her face. Even though you have great depth of field, your subject is a flattened without the necessary shadows. Also soften her hands on the branches. With the black nails he hands seem to be clawing at the branches instead of caressing them. Lastly, don't be afraid to pull emotions from your subjects. Talk to them about things in their life or in yours. Get her mind off of having her photo taken and make her think about the punchline to a joke or a hook of a story.

Great use of depth of field, nice framing with the branches, keep up the good work!
