This was taken at a small environmental music festival as DIY synth artist Paddy Steer began his set. I managed to capture an almost portrait like image whilst he was wearing his trademark paper mâché robot head.
The stage was lit from behind using work light tubes with a warming gel and from the front with very limiting red pars at the back of the cattle shed. Whilst not ideal for photography I loved how it gave his LEDs an almost evil, piecing light.
Shot on an A6000 with an adapted Minolta f/2.8 50mm. Shot at a stupid ISO3200.
