I tend to prefer things a little off the beaten track so here is something different. As an abstract oriented photographer, I can't help going to the light and shapes. I love the smoke and shadow in this one even though it gives a soft focus thing. Still, one of my favorite Skynyrd shots.

I love this sort of thing as well.. I wish this community were more open to this sort of work; I personally find it hits better than a lot of more realistic portrayals
Thanks Kars! The submissions in this contest do have a consistent look. I would also like to see people put their own identifiable style on special topics. There are so many great photographers on this site - it would be cool to see some more unusual takes on the themes! Thanks for the kind words!
