One of my first shoots for an outdoor/hunting publication in 2014. This was Sharps Rifle Company's new hunting rife made for target shooting and medium to small game. I used one medium softbox and an Alien Bee 1600 on camera left. Sharps is known for their cowboy rifles and this is their way of entering the modern age with a modern sporting rifle.

I wouldn't change the photo itself (exposure, lighting, etc.) but I'd add some styling to that stump on the right. Maybe a spare mag with some loose bullets arranged on it. Perfect table for some added interest.

Oooooh! And maybe a small target in the upper left corner stapled to a log with a nice tight shot grouping on it!
