This image was taken using a technique I developed called 3D POP™️. Inspired by the Brenizer Method as well as other techniques, I created a proprietary process involving a rigorous panoramic shooting style and a series of additional post-processing steps. The resulting image has impressive detail at 100MP of resolution, dramatically less noise, reduced distortion, and rich color depth. The dancer, Jibril Kapadia (Colgate University '20) struck his favorite pose for this shot!

And how is this a stitched panorama image?

This image is composed of 87 telephoto shots stitched together to create a wide angle Field of View with a shallow DOF.

It is accepted in the terms of this contest: "for this Critique the Community, you can also submit any photograph that has been stitched together. That means any photograph made up of at least 3 separate images that gives the viewer a larger view than any one of the single frames that makes up the pano"

Then why didn't you mention it? It's also your fault, if people misunderstand the picture... A nd yes, I reconsidered it, you got one star more.

Thank you for reconsidering. I did mention it with reference to the “Brenizer method” which is based on the panorama technique. But yes, I could have been more explicit.

Right you did mention the method. I should have google it.

No worries. I am glad we came to a mutual understanding!

So, if you gave this image a lower rating because of a misunderstanding, please reconsider and judge the photo on its merit.
