Summer time is always difficult for me. Rises are very early and sets very late...with 18h time to kill between. Of course if you have place booked, you can come back for a nap, after early rise. Things look slightly different if you have only small tent. If weather is good it's impossible to sleep in tent unless you love sleeping in glass house or sauna. Then you have many hours of waiting till sunset. I usually go for a little ride in the neighbourgood or do some hike but I was so tired this time I didn't move till noon. Some dark clouds rolled and it rained night before so I thought I'll have a look at the waterfall close to Ardara, called Assarnaca. There was a nice flow there but so many people. I was sitting in the car and relaxing, thinking how can I approach this waterfall different way. All easy accessible places like this have millions of similar shots, taken by tourists. I decided to mount my Sigma 100-400mm zoom with extender and see what can I get. I think I made a good choice and I hope you will enjoy this slightly different view of very famous waterfall.
