Trying to think of a couple suggestions for improvement ... take these with grains of salt. But perhaps it seems too "crunchy" like it's over-sharpened in post? And I wonder if the brightness/colorfulness of the background flowers compete too much for the eye's attention with the main prominent foreground one?
Hey Eric,thanks for the ideas about the distracting background might try a different composition next time i shoot flowers. I havent done anything to this in post it looks exactly the same as the slide on a light table through a loupe so maybe velvia is just a "crunchy" filmstock :)
