Simplicity. Just a rose. By any name.

Quick set-up in home, using some flowers my wife received as a thank you. Shot using the Sony a6000 with 50mm f/1.8 lens plus a short extension tube, at f/9.5. Used off-camera speedlight and some spritz of water for effect.

Any recommendations to improve are much appreciated.

Great image! some of the flashes of light can be turned down(look a bit fake), has lots of potential

Thanks for the tip Rohit. Yes, I accentuated the reflections/glare a bit in post but can see how it could also be over-cooked. Your perspective is helpful. Cheers.
