I think I love everything about this photo.
The way his arm is on line w/the sprays’ radial the water pushing toward him from every direction and the distortion that makes it less personal more experiential.
And so different than other surf shots.
He seems like a loner, risk taker even for a surfer.
Thanks Jennifer. If I'm shooting later in the evening I often try to slow the shutter, you can get some great shots where the surfer if sharp and the movement of the water is accentuated. I wanted to enter something a little different that the standard sports shots.
