I love the way the skin bends around the foot, great shot!
When I gasp an, "Oh, wow!" before even really taking in the full shot, it must be good. :)
From skimming the entries, it seems an effective 'action' shot either must show some motion blur or--if freezing the action--the action itself must be completely obvious. This nails that second style! Nothing about those 2 says "hey, we're just posing here." Awesome take!
