I understand what you are trying to do, the isolation thing, but the winter trees and rushes are so 'blah' and dead looking it's not helping. One piece of of the rushes is almost splitting the bird in half- that could be retouched out. Wildlife photos are not easy- you really need a blind (and a lot of patience with a long lens!) to get a close enough shot. I want to see this bird closer up and I think there are better ways to get your theme across.
