Casselman State Park, Maryland. Casselman River Bridge. I've read that when this bridge was first constructed, it was the largest span in the country. When the scaffolding was to be removed, people came from miles around to watch it collapse. They obviously didn't get to see it, but rather got to see a fine bit of engineering.
