200mm - Was packing up after shooting a telephoto pano of AM fog over San Francisco, when one of those little people in a big world scenarios developed. Still had the 70-200 mounted, so zoomed in and shot.

Excellent composition!
I like the composition and the concept. However, that dark shape above the clouds just right of the centre of the image draws a lot of attention, I would try to clone it out.
Also, I would try to push the light spilling around the foot of the pylone even further by shifting the white point a bit, but maybe you will lose too much structure in the clouds then.
Just some creative thoughts an an already very nice picture.
Thanks for the kind words and feedback, Sascha. The shadow you reference is the Salesforce tower - even though it's only 7 years old, it's already become somewhat iconic. As the tallest building in SF it has become known for being the only one to stand above most fog. As a result, instead of cloning-out, the fog level may need to be raised to make the scene believable. From an artistic standpoint though, definitely makes sense. Cheers.
I did not want to kill an iconic building ;-) And you are definitely right, anybody knowing the scene would immediately know it's been cloned out. So it makes sense to leave it in. Thank you for letting me know. Cheers!
