I don't even know what to say to that. This was shot on a Zeiss 18mm f/2.8. However, I doubt that I can convince you that it is.. I can send you a screenshot of the metadata?
I think there's a couple of people on here that visited that location.. From this spot you need a wide-angle, otherwise you won't get the whole mountain into the frame..
Can you explain to me how I would shoot this foreground together with the background on a longer lens? I would love to be able to do that for shots where I actually need compression. It would definitely include some tough foucs-stacking.
I have clearly more important things to do than arguing whether this was shot at 18mm or not, you'll have to take my word for it (:
However I'd love to see an example of something like this, which is not a pano, shot on a much tighter lens than what I used here. Feel free to point me to some materials.
