Taken with Sony A7 III and Tamron 15-30mm f/2.8 at 15mm. 15 image noise stack for foreground and 5 for stars. One of my first proper attempts at milkyway photography. There where pretty much no colours in the raw files exept for the green on the tiny three close to the camera and the orange light from the cabin, so i added some orange on the grass patches to give it some life. Reshooting this next year when the milkyway is correctly positioned again, but this time with a faster lens for the milkyway and longer exposures for foreground on a sturdy tripod. This was a pain to edit and this was the best i could to with it.

Wow! So many great ideas. When you come back next time, see if it doesn't work well to eliminate some to simplify the image. Your idea for a long exposure at lower ISO for the foreground is a good one. You shouldn't need a faster lens unless you are really going to upgrade a lot.
