Pretty shot, but her smile breaks the mood IMO.

Nude women and horses... it works!

Normally, this shot would have all the elements that I look for: Monochrome, naked girl and her horse (and I like the smile). However, the look of the horse spoils the shot for me. Specifically, the head is down, which causes the neck to bow, which looks awkward to me. The expression on the horse's face seems strained, almost painful, which is a huge issue for me. Overall, the horse's body condition seems thin, especially at the hind end. Having shot many horse portraits over the years, I understand that this shot might not capture the overall feeling of the of the other pictures during this shoot, but these items (plus the overall dark nature of the processing), cause me to turn away from this picture.

I love it. The horse is specacular. I love that his head is almost bowing. The gal's smile does distract a bit but I'm OK with it. The dark mood of the shot is gorgeous. If that tree were in full bloom, the dark wouldn't work.
