'Caught off guard'
I have a fascination with subjects emerging from darkness.
It gives off the visual feeling of a studio lit low key image, but in a real word setting. If you know your camera and surroundings well enough it can turn normally boring images into epic set pieces.
This image is an excellent example of just that. I love how the certain features are hidden in shadow on the subject and how they interact with the parts bathed in light
Love the mood in this shot, and your timing is perfect with the man seemingly walking out of darkness. But the light at the end of the tunnel on the left side of the frame is really distracting to me. Personally I would love to see a version where the left side of the frame is cropped off, and the man is in the center of the picture.
