I had the model stand on a small step stool and I arranged the gown to create a leading line to the model.

I had setup a bare strobe on the outside of the window and carefully adjusted the angle of the blinds to create the 'blind' shadow on the wall. I also had a 700mm gridded beauty dish on the model just to make sure she 'popped' out from the background.

In post production I added a vignette to even emphasize the subject more.

I really love this image, my only critique is about the window on the right. I mean the model and the dress are so classy and that window looks very cheap to me.
