Tuscany's Val d'Orcia is a photographers dream and probably was the same for hundreds of painters, writers and all kinds of artists before.
This photo shows how the sun paints the hills in the morning with shadows accentuating the landscape beautifully.
If you look closely you'll see two deer enjoying the morning as well. I waited to capture them as best isolated against the shade as possible.
