Recently went out the the AMAZING (scoff) Great Sand Hills of Saskatchewan. My dad who has gone before said to be disappointed. Well the smoke from the BC fires covered the lower part of the sky and when the sun dropped behind it turned a deep red. The smoke was so thick you could look straight at it.

I lowered the exposure to capture the color and noticed the exposure on the sand looked very interesting being that dark. A very interesting contrast for me and a fun experience
