Early 1900s artificial eyes. Photographed for Morbid Curiosities: Collections of the Uncommon and the Bizarre book at NY State collector's gallery. The collector had several items of late 19th Century-early 20th Century actual medical devices and quack medical scam devices. These artificial eyes were hand painted creations to cover up or replace missing eyes of patients.
