Master Painter.
Shot this image in Victor Zaldivar's studio. He is a master painter in NY.
I combined the natural light entering into his dark studio and a speedlite to fill shadows.
I like how the harsh light works in this image... giving contrast and setting the dark mood... I little bit as the light in his paintings. Mostly "claroscuro"

This is fantastic! I would love to see some element of his finished work in it to complete it as an environmental portrait, but that's quibbling. Really great work.
