Magician Shawn Farquhar beat Penn and Teller twice on "Fool Us" and after seeing he lived within 20 minutes of me, I contacted him and asked if we could do a photo shoot. This was taken in his living room as he casually did amazing magic tricks while I set up lights and camera. This was lit with two soft boxes and the gleam in his eye. Super nice guy.

both this one and the boxer shot are missing a bit of something. Here I think it's more about the expression, and framing, while the other shot needs a bit different edit and maybe some smoke for the mood. And most importantly, both are missing catchlights in the eyes, to keep that focal point at the subject.
