This was taken in North Vancouver with a dancer friend of mine as part of a "ballerina in the city" project (very cliché I know). We did some photos of her on point around the city and Stanley Park and then headed to Whytecliff Park where I set up a gelled flash with an umbrella camera right and we were happy to get a decent sunset and some ominous clouds. My only regret now is lighting her from the opposite side of the sun, so I'm going to have to go out and do another shoot with her.

Has a bit of a Joe McNally feel to it.
Thank you! High praise :)
