Taken at Churchill, Manitoba. This big male was the first bear we saw. You can see his exploits with other bears as a scar on his nose. This is a trip worth your while if you want to see these magnificent creatures live.

4 stars for the danger! What focal length did you use?
No danger, sir. I was in a Tundra Buggy sponsored by Frontiers North. I used a 150-600 Sigma lens on a 5DIV. No human is allowed outside the buggies except the fish and game people, researchers, or people working on the buggies. Those cuddly bears look at us as snacks. :-)
