This image was taken at a wedding at the Ultimate Sky Box, in downtown San Diego, overlooking Petco Park.
I wanted to capture as much of the beautiful backdrop as possible, but I wasn't able to get a wide enough shot due to space constraints on the small balcony, so I composed 7 vertical frames into a panoramic image. It was lit using a Canon 600exrt speedlite sitting on the handrail behind the couple (praying it wouldn't fall) and the main light was a Canon 600exrt speedlite in my trusty Fstopper's flash disc to the left of the couple. I wasn't sure how the final image would turn out at the time, and it took a lot of work to blend the layers together in photoshop, but I was really happy with the end result and, most importantly, the couple loved it!
Gear used: Canon 5DMiii & Canon 24-70mm 2.8ii, two Canon 600exrt speedlites, & Fstoppers flash disc
Well done, all that effort paid off!
