2.5 - "Solid"

This couple drove to Colorado to elope at Castlewood Canyon State park. The bride and I collaborated on the outfits, timing, etc. to plan out some fantastic photos. This photo was taken a few minutes after sunset with settings (85mm, 1/125th, f1.8, ISO200) aimed at capturing the last traces of light in the sky while leaving the couple in silhouette at the moment the groom lifted her veil. Shot using natural light with a Nikon Z6II / Nikkor Z 85mm f1.8 S.

This is cool, though since it's silhouetted, I would have asked the groom to lean in or do something to close the height gap.

Well done. We can see the outline of the facial features on both bride and groom nicely silhouetted (nose, mouth, lips etc). The background is gorgeous, and I really like how the veil is so obvious making it with out doubt a wedding image. One for their wall I'd say for sure.

lovely silhouette!!
