This photo was taken during the monsoon season in India in the village of Bhandardara here in Maharashtra, India. After the summer season which lasts from March to June the monsoon season with its rains transform the brown landscapes into a rich palette of colours. On a particularly wet weekend we had gone for a drive in the hills in this place and I had got down at this particular location.
Opposite to this view there was a road on which I noticed this family walking, I guess back to their homes after a day working in the fields. I had my wide angle lens on and as they turned towards this dirt path I managed to get this frame.
