This small lighthouse is situated on Hvaler islands in south-east Norway, very close to my home, and I have been there numerous times. One of my favourite photo locations. Taken in March-17 with iPhone 7 plus on a tripod, with 3sec timer, first edit in Lr mobile with further edits in LrC if needed.
A small nice story with the impact of this picture, if I may..
In late summer 2017, some months after taking this, I wanted to go out photographing something. Didn't know what. Asked a friend where should we go... Let's go to the lighthouse, he said.
When arriving to the lighthouse, there was a man there photographing. I had never seen him before and I started talking to him, he was from Germany. After some minutes he asked me, Excuse me, but are your name Hans?
Surprised I said yes. He then said, Well, you are the reason why I'm here.
I saw your photo of this lighthouse on internet, and me and my son have been traveling across Norway in a camper van for the last 14 days photographing mountains and the big vistas.
And this morning we were supposed to go back to Germany with the ferry from Oslo... but there was this picture of this lighthouse.... maybe I can find it? I rescheduled our tickets, and not only do I find it, I meet the photographer also... amazing.
That's a great story! And it was you who was the "famous photographer!"
