Photo taken in July 2024 in Cefalù, Sicily. This is one of three churches in the area which are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The churches were built by the Normans who led the reconquest of southern Italy and Sicily from the Arabs in the early 1000s AD. Cefalù is the ancestral home of my family and my wife's family.
