On this day, we took a drive up the coast. It was a beautiful clear day, great for getting out of the house. But unlike most trips out, I decided to leave the cameras at home, after all, I've been to these places hundreds of times. We pulled off to see if we could see any whales migrating south for winter, and walked out to the cliffs...no whales this day but the pelicans were not more than 3 feet away from the fencing that prevents onlookers from going over the edge. Well I still had one camera, in my pocket, my iPhone SE (second edition), which captured this Pelican posing. He certainly wasn't afraid of standing on the edge or me!
