Last year I spent about a week in Slovenia. The weather provided some beautiful opportunities for moody and dramatic shots, with the mists and low clouds filling the valleys of the Julian Alps. Each valley has its own microclimate, and you can have sun and moody mist very short distance from one another. Given the conditions, I had a lot of fun with my telephoto lens.
