Mexican Hat Rock is found in the south eastern part of Utah, USA, and near the town of Mexican Hat. This naturally formed rock formation is named for its likeness of a Mexican sombrero sitting atop a man's head. It's approximately 300 feet above the surrounding landscape and the top rock is about 60 feet long and 12 feet high.
We stopped here so I could photograph this unique and curious formation on one of our National Park exploration trips. Image taken with a Nikon D850 and a Tamron SP 70-200mm F/2.8 G2 lens, @ 200mm, f/13, 1/125 s, and ISO 64. Shot on a tripod with a cable release. Edited with Capture One 23.
