Sunrise at the Ponta de São Lourenço on the island of Maderia, Portugal taken from the Miradouro do Abismo or "The viewpoint of the Abyss" which is very aptly named. The drama of the image is enhanced by the high viewpoint and the way the light reflected by the two different bodies of water. The snaking ridgeline guides the viewer eye through the different parts of the image to build the whole scene. Take using Sony A1 with 12-24mm GM lens and Haida filters. Technically, it is difficult to balance the different parts of this long exposure image. Processed using DxO PhotoLab 7.
