My favorite kind of photo... much like the saying, f8 and be there. Great light poked through the clouds on a stormy day and made the mountain peaks really pop. Best part, it was shot on the side of the highway in Banff National Park.

This was two shots merged together in lightroom. I converted to black and white and put a little blue into it with the tone curve to my taste.

In photoshop I did some more dodging and burning, especially on the top and bottom of the frame. I also added a subtle/selective orton effect.
