Dragonhead | This is located at No. 16 Beach in Rye, Melbourne.
It's an amazing rock feature that only shows itself at extremely low tide which occurs a few times a month and to coincide the tides with sunrise / sunset makes it a challenge.
I had in mind to capture a Long Exposure exposure of this scene but the bird decided to dance around on the rock.
As I watched the bird does his thing, a rogue swell came along and almost swept my gear and myself off.
Instead of trying to execute my initial concept, thought I try to capture all three elements in their right exposure and blend.
Hope you like it.
