Timing, was definitely the most difficult part of this shot. The helicopter was on a practice session, and only stayed in that particulare place for a very short amount of time. I didn't have a camera ready, so had to find one as fast as possible. I chose my Panasonic FZ82, a bridge/superzoom camera. Not the best quality, compared to my Canon or Nikon DSLR, but it had the most amount of zoom, out of the cameras I own.. I then had to wait to just the right moment to get the composition I wanted, were the pilot was positioned between the two branches, while also trying to hold the camera still enough, handheld, zoomed in to about 1000mm (in 35mm equivalent). But, luckily I managed to get the shot, and with some editing in Ligthroom, and some denoising (as I had to turn up the ISO in order to have a fast enough shutter speed for the spinning blades), I think it turned out pretty decent.
