In August, 2015, I was photographing in Utah. This is a photo of petroglyphs on a sandstone rock face. Sadly, the petroglyphs were riddled with bullet holes, and for example, “Bob was here in 1985’s” scratched over the original aboriginal art.
I erased the bullet holes and graffiti with Photoshop, then wrote in Photoshop AI “Ancestral Pueblo person in native clothing, facing rock wall, using rock tool, making a petroglyph”. This is the result of that prompt.
I have seen this desecration in many rock art locations in the American west. How could someone be so ignorant and uncaring of the art and history from their own country?

I keep saying to my self, "This is too easy, is this cheating ?

What's even worse is people are stealing petroglyphs from the desert in Southern California. This is a solid piece! Sad you had to remove bullet holes and graffiti.
