A few shots from Germany
Just a few interesting details walking around a couple of towns in Germany. In the second one, I was just captured by the setting sunlight in an alley.

I very like the idea. Maybe having the left in focus to (with focus stacking if needed) would have make it even stronger. Maybe not.
Also, have you considered rotation it 90° to the left? It's not necessarily better, just an idea to consider.
I think it is a simple yet effective concept and shot and it works well like all good and simple concepts. A personal note, maybe based on my taste: I would increase the concept of "opposites". Increasing the contrast both in terms of tones and textures (organic texture of a tree against a geometric one?) might enforce the concept.
Good idea anyway, I´ve never considered it!
